FLAG CHANGING CEREMONY OF HOLY SHRINE OF IMAM REZA as MASH’HAD IRAN
Early in the morning on Saturday, 13th of August, and after the sunrise, the replacement ceremony On the auspicious birth anniversary of the Eight Shia Imam, the green flag was hoisted on the top of the Razavi dome in a ceremony attended by Astan Quds Razavi custodian, pilgrims. The flag of the sacred dome of Imam Reza is replaced several times in a year in a special ritual, especially in Muharram month and the birthday anniversary of Imam Reza.
